What is Nsanku?

Nsanku evaluates how well Large Language Models translate Ghanaian languages. We tested 14+ models across 43 languages with 300+ sentences each.

Why It Matters

Developers need to know which LLM works best for their language. Nsanku provides that evidence with BLEU and chrF scores.

Models Evaluated

  • Closed: GPT-4.1, Claude Sonnet 4.5, Gemini 2.5 Flash
  • Open: Llama 3.1/3.3/4, Qwen3 235B, DeepSeek V3.1, and more

Languages

43 Ghanaian languages including Twi, Ewe, Fante, Ga, Dagbani, Hausa, and lesser-studied ones.
